Join Annuvia on Friday September 19th for the annual San Francisco AHA Heartwalk and support the fight against heart disease and stroke!
The Heartwalk is a national event that helps to raise money to fight heart disease and stroke, and promotes walking as part of a healthy lifestyle. Each year thousands rally together at Justin Herman Plaza and enjoy a beautiful walk down the bay to Pier 39 and back, a trip of about three miles.
This year, The San Francisco Heartwalk’s goal is to raise $1.5 million through corporate sponsorships and donations from walkers. These generous contributions help to fund research and public education campaigns. The end goal is to reduce the risk of coronary heart disease and stroke by 25% by 2010!
