Lets start with a little history….Annuvia was founded by a firefighter and Emergency Room Nurse named Joe Novello. As a healthcare provider, responsible for responding to critical emergency situations on a daily basis Joe, like all other healthcare providers, had to take training courses (such as BLS for HCP, PALS, and ACLS) every two years. Unfortunately, Joe learned right away that the quality of instruction varied tremendously from provider-to-provider and, surprisingly, many instructors had never practiced the skills they were teaching on real patients!

Thus, Joe started Annuvia with the goal of teaching lay-rescuers how to REALLY respond to medical emergencies, not just pass out AHA certification cards.Noticing this problem wasn’t limited to just one city, Joe took it national, finding passionate instructors across the country who wanted to share their knowledge and encourage action during emergency situations.

Each of Annuvia’s instructors:

• Are currently practicing in a clinical setting, ensuring that their skills are up-to-date and they’re aware of the latest trends and techniques
• Have responded to hundreds of calls in all different types of situations
• Have broad backgrounds and collaborate to share their knowledge (Annuvia employs Emergency Room Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics, etc)
• Come to your location with their equipment
