Active Health Solutions Becomes Part of the Annuvia Family

-By Micah Bongberg Google+ | @annuvia

Annuvia acquires Active Health Solutions in a continued effort to Logocreate healthier, safer, and more prepared communities.

SAN FRANCISCO, 25 August 2008 – Annuvia finalizes its acquisition of Active Health Solutions, Inc. This union establishes Annuvia as one of the largest health, safety, and emergency preparation service providers in the nation.

“This acquisition is so exciting because the two companies truly complement each other – in both the marketing and delivery of services,” states Micah Bongberg, VP of Business Development for Annuvia (www.annuvia.com). “Annuvia will enable us to provide a greater depth of management skills and service to our existing customers. The main goal is prevention: Prevention of poor health and sickness through the use of wellness programs, prevention of death through use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), and prevention of devastating damages through emergency response training on the corporate level.”

Active Health Solutions specializes in helping companies with 200+ employees decrease healthcare costs. This is done through the re-engineering of workspace and business culture, to promote regular exercise and healthy eating habits. Wellness experts are assigned to each client to assess their current working environment and offer suggestions for change.

“Prevention and knowledge have the power to save lives. Our hope is that working with major organizations around the country will enable us to educate as many people as possible. When employees take control of their personal health and learn how to save the lives of others, they are better able to contribute to both the workplace environment, and the community as a whole,” says Bongberg.
